We have 2 holiday cottages, Whytings and Knowles. Whytings has 8 bedrooms and can sleep 20, where as Knowles has 2 bedrooms and can sleep 6. Both properties are part of the same building and can be rented together.
Our two holiday houses are located on our farm which is situated at the top of Hartgrove Hill, and from where you can see across the Axe Valley and all the way out to sea. Whytings itself has a large dining room table and large living space - perfect for gatherings and parties. Knowles has two bedrooms (both ensuite) with a kitchen and living space including dining room table. Dogs are more than welcome here as long as they do not cause a problem with livestock.There is a meadow available for you to use outside for relaxation or games.We are perfectly situated for quiet relaxation or indeed a number of leisure pursuits. There are many beautiful walks straight from your front door, and if you would be interested in doing some clay pigeon shooting this could be arranged with my son Oliver who runs this on site.

The seaside town of Lyme Regis is only ten minutes away boasting a beautiful coastline, various activities such as sea fishing and fossil hunting as well as a host of lovely pubs and eateries. We are also within walking distance to Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage HQ where they hold events and cookery courses, and the River Cottage Restaurant is only a five minutes drive away in Axminster.If during your stay you would like help in recommending a place to eat or visit, I or my family are available on site to help as we run our country clothing business (www.FORTISCLOTHING.co.uk) from the farm. We are close enough to help but far enough away to leave you in peace should you so wish! You are also welcome to come into the show room and take a spot on one of the sofas in there if you need to use the office wifi. The houses do tend to get booked up fairly quickly particularly at peak seasons and holiday times. A 50% deposit is due at time of booking with the rest payable 6 weeks in advance of your holiday.
